Take me to the red rocks of the Southwest ANY day! I adventured with this brilliant couple into the backcountry of Moab (via badass Jeep, might I add) to capture a love immersed in this wild earth. It was so much fun to work with the depth of the landscape and the contrasts between textures in order to highlight their gentle and playful connection. Sandstone and sagebrush, cartwheels and laughter, we hopped around the desert late into the night. I couldn’t leave without adding headlights and a tassel jacket into the mix. One of my favorite moments was playing with a long exposure in complete darkness to capture their embrace at Dead Horse Point State Park, check it out at the end of the gallery!
