Sheila and Joel’s wedding… where do I begin? For those of you who know me, you know I have loved Loloma Lodge (located at McKenzie Bridge, OR) since they first open their doors. The canopy of cedar, the rustic cabins, the rushing waterfalls —every corner of this property is magical! But to witness one of my dearest friends (and favorite painters) marry the absolute perfect man, I knew this day would be special on so many levels. Sheila’s timeless beauty and Joel’s gentle spirit shone brightly as they prepared for their wedding, and I loved capturing every detail. This wedding showed me power of love to endure life’s trials, and the authentic celebration of being vibrantly in love. The family-led singalongs, the generations of joy and laughter, and of course, the leather boots peeking out from beneath her dress, made this wedding one of my very favorites.
